On May 11-12, 2013 the third Sherpas' Meeting within the framework of Russia's G20 Presidency took place in St.Petersburg. The meeting covered the most pressing issues of the G20 agenda, and assessed recent developments of the G20 working process with particular emphasis on the main outcomes of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors' Meeting, which was recently held in Washington. The G20 Sherpas measured the progress of the preparations for the G20 Labour Ministers' Meeting, and the Joint G20 Labour and Finance Ministers Meeting.
Additionally, this meeting was marked by the first in the G20 history discussion of the Business 20, Civil 20 and Labour 20 recommendations for the G20. The G20 Sherpas considered the B20, C20 and L20 recommendations on the issues of employment, fighting corruption, energy and environmental sustainability, food security, financial inclusion, post-2015 Millennium Development Goals, and international financial architecture reform, as well as recommendations referring to the spheres of investment and infrastructure.
