On June 6-7, 2013 the Second G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group (ACWG) Meeting was held in Ottawa (Canada). Within the year of Russia's G20 Presidency activities of the ACWG are built around the G20 Anti-Corruption Action Plan for 2013-2014.
At the meeting the draft G20 Leaders' Statement language on fighting corruption was discussed along with the Progress report and other possible deliverables for the St.Petersburg Summit. Particular attention was paid to such issues as progress in ratifying the UN Convention against Corruption, combating foreign and domestic bribery and solicitation, enhancing international cooperation in the fight against corruption, promoting integrity in the public sector and tackling corruption in key vulnerable sectors, including sports and privatization. A separate session was organized to discuss further cooperation with the Business 20 and Civil 20.
